5902 W. Cactus RD. Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) are professionals that help individuals, families and groups change behaviors, emotions, attitudes, relationships, and environmental conditions to restore and enhance their capacity to bring forth personal growth.
It is important to respect and love ourselves. Sometimes it is hard to relay a message of respect when we struggle with it ourselves. I love to work with families in discovering their strengths to build upon. Working with children and teens in exploring their potential helps build strength. This is an exciting phase of growth to watch. Helping families celebrate this growth is very rewarding to me. There are times that boundaries need to be re-examined in our relationships with others. Exploring those boundaries is also an important part of counseling. How communication is delivered when setting boundaries is explored in order to see ourselves through another's eyes. Caring for each other whether you are single or married takes a lot of energy. Sometimes there is no energy left to give others or ourselves. I can help with relaxation techniques and strategies to help bring rejuvenation into your life. Some personal information about myself: I have been married for over 20 years. I have 2 adult children, 2 cats, 2 dogs (one is a therapy dog), and an aquarium of fish. I attend church at Glendale Nazarene Church and Open House Fellowship.
